We are Stawisha
Stawisha Africa (meaning “Develop Africa" in Kiswahili) Initiative (SAI)
is a Non-profit and youth led Organization established and registered in Kenya under Companies Act of 2015 in the year 2021. This Act mandated Stawisha to operate in the 47 counties in Kenya and beyond.
Stawisha is headquartered in Siaya County and currently working in Siaya and the neighboring counties in the Lake Region Economic Block. We work with young people (age 9-35yrs) and their communities in rural western Kenya, to help transform their lives through Education, Advocacy, Technology, Innovation and Service Provision.

Education promotion through readership access, bridging digital divide, dignity restoration for students, skills training through apprenticeship and job access.

We are building towards institutionalized, sustainable growth. As we empower young people, we are also committed to strengthening ourselves to serve communities better.
